Murmurations Testimonials

“ Natasha creates such a warm and invitational space, and attracts the most amazing humans!

Each Murmurations session is like a delicious meal, so rich and nourishing. I love this group so much.

I leave each session feeling a little bit closer to myself and so inspired by our collective.

— Annique Sampson Coach

“ Natasha creates a space where theory and practice meet. Where ancient traditions are acknowledged whilst gently orientating themselves to a modern world. She is a generous and provocative mentor, establishing a culture of understanding, enquiry and compassion. She invites the learning process in both our personal experience and from engaging with the animate world, in a way that honours both ones existing knowing and the potential for new discoveries.

— Stella McKenna Strategic Leader

“ Murmurations has been such a gift. Natasha has a unique ability to hold the kind of contrasts that welcome all of what’s alive, both in our group and in our individual and collective experience - connecting with nature, depth and lightness, liminal and tangible, knowing and unknowing.

She freely shares the ways that she embodies and continuously develops her relationship with the natural world, and in listening to and practicing the skills she shares I notice a new way of being unfolding. One where I sense and orient myself as an integral part of this world, rather than somehow outside it - a bystander hoping to be let in.

“ In a world that often feels fragmented and disconnected, Murmurations offered me a much needed sanctuary of reconnection. Natasha has a rare capacity for deep, authentic and embodied presence, and an intuitive way of sensing stirs beneath your surface. She speaks directly to your heart, offering truths that may challenge but always serve your deepest growth.

Her way of holding space weaves gentle compassion and fierce courage. There is no way of hiding from yourself.

On our Myth & Mirroring session:

“ I appreciate the structure of this particular exercise so much. I loved having the three parts divided for different kinds of space-holding and the richness that each part brought. Both as just a witness to the process and also then being the storyteller. I just loved it. I feel really inspired.

I think any time that I've been in space holding in groups, there hasn't been that same kind of division that really also simplifies and clarifies the space that you're holding, in a way that allows a different kind of presence to come through.

I really dig it - I want more.

“ Natasha’s Murmurations programme becomes an invitation to step into a more in tuned with life-body-heart-soul way of being with the whole world.

Of course it’s always a choice to accept or not accept to take the journey.

It has offered me a light on myself and a warmth of community and a guide with eyes in the heart and who is the Queen Tear Licker!

“ At a time on Earth when we are being shaken to the core, ecologically and culturally, it is necessary to bring ourselves back into authentic deep relationship with the earth. To have someone like Natasha to accompany and teach us in this process of Re-membering is a gift not to be missed. Natasha brings truth and authenticity with integrity and fierceness which is absolutely necessary in order for us to take a real look at what it is that we need, individually and collectively, to move towards a culture that is in right relationship. I have not chosen any of the words that I write here lightly. I mean every one of them.

“ In recent years, I've taken part in numerous online courses, particularly since I stopped being in paid employment in February 2022. I prefer things that are in person, but obviously that severely limits what one can find locally or afford - especially when in a body that already has often serious limitations.

So in that time I've learned mostly online - about embodiment, Authentic Relating, mythology, new kinds of coaching, and permaculture: but nothing has been as meaningful or as closely aligned with my own longings and areas of interest as Murmurations.

To be more accurate: nothing has impacted my life as profoundly as this course of learning.

Taking part in the Murmurations mentoring group was an excellent experience all round. The content was spot on, for me. Natasha structured the sessions to cover elements that make up a vision quest, or a contained nature-based initiatory experience. Within this structure, the sessions were held spaciously enough to allow direction to emerge spontaneously, from Natasha or from within the group. I found this mix of overall structure and loosely held sessions to be ideal for me.

In some groups that I've been part of, I've found the leadership (usually of men) to be either too rigidly structured, or too directive, neither of which I find particularly helpful when it comes to making contact with my own soul, or taking my practice to new levels. Natasha's skill is in creating a container that feels welcoming and secure, but also allowing plenty of space within that framework for the relational and the emergent to have life.

Overall, I've found the content of the course to meet me at my points of interest and aliveness, and then to be supported in deepening those areas through teaching, through the strength of the care within the group, and through personal practice. Specifically, I found the guidance and the practices geared around solo time in nature - particularly threshold walks and "trysting place" - to have been both accessible and profound. They have taken me deeper in the areas I've been working with already and seeking more from. I also found both the content and guidance around mythologising our personal stories to be right up my street. It helped me to unlock and explore some of the parts of myself I was aware of, but had not properly encountered.

Our Men’s group was relatively small, which suited me, but still I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of connection with other members, and the depth of trust that felt quickly established. I would put this down to both Natasha's skill in group dynamics, and to the calibre of people who showed up. One frustration I've sometimes felt with online group work is feeling a strong sense of connection within the group, but having no space between sessions to deepen that or to support one another. This was not the case with Murmurations, where we were actively encouraged to connect between sessions, including in a Whatsapp group, and where there were "conversation café" spaces - in which we could get to know one another more, as well as practice key skills.

“ I went with the longing to be part of something that spoke to my heart and encouraged some much needed growth. The pace we work at and the depth of holding and witness has enabled me to utilise the teachings in my daily work and within my own line of enquiry and research. It is profound how much has moved in me. Also, another surprise for a land-girl like me, is how being part of an online community meets all the parts of me.

I wholeheartedly recommend Murmurations for deep connection, community and powerful methods of enquiry that bring profound awareness.Natasha holds a safe,
loving deep container full of clear knowing and teachings that flow from her bones.

“ Murmurations has been wonderfully rich with invitations to explore the soft edges of our being, where the wild nettles grow, whilst being in a community of other women, whose voices add to the collective experience.

From embodiment to the mythology of our lives, from the sacred to the common of our days, each session has been an invitation to come into relationship with what is of importance to us, with depth and softness.

For me, it serves as a reminder to keep following the thread that revealed itself during my Vision Fast with Natasha - a thread that easily gets tangled in ‘business as usual’ and the small  ‘gremlins’ that pull us back into unhelpful old habits if we don't tend to it with care.

“ Natasha carries the depth and the vastness of the territory in such an incredible way: every session is an adventure and a deep dive into the unseen. Where you can start to feel as if you can see in the dark, and accompany all that wants to be known - bringing gifts for each of us and our own uniqueness, as well as a way forward to serve the wider communities (human and more-than-human) we are deeply connected to and so desperately need to come back into relationship with.

What made this journey so exceptional was Natasha’s profound understanding of both inner and outer landscapes and how they mirror and inform each other, guiding us toward wholeness. I loved that we never felt stuck in a rigid program. Everything flowed and shifted based on what was happening for us as a group, yet always with a clear sense of purpose and intention.

I would say that this is a space for anyone yearning to awaken the wild, wise parts of themselves that modern life has lulled to sleep.

“ The Murmurations Mentoring programme is the third programme I have taken with Natasha, after Elemental Soul (‘23) and The River Underground (‘24). In doing so I’ve witnessed her teaching style and the content she offers refine and deepen and expand – yes, all three – which speaks to her self-actualising qualities: never taking anything for granted, while staying true to the teachings she received on her own journey.

If this course has taught me one thing, it's that learning to be dreamt by earth again is about showing up for your own path. And following the thread, whole-heartedly. Over and over again. It’s hard work and can even get ugly at times, but then there’s always life ready to surprise you when you least expect it, sending shivers of pleasure down your spine.

The Murmurations Mentoring came exactly at the right time for me in my life and art & horse practice: I was yearning for soul nourishment, for an embodied understanding of the Way I am finding myself on these years, and for a community of kin to share my progress and doubts with, and learn from. I received all of this, and more…

On our Spiral Council session:

“ I’m still not quite sure what to say, but I feel the need to say something about our spiral last night. Again I feel the session opened me up, and began to prise a new door ajar. To let a new light both in, and out. Where the words are hard to find and express, and are clumsy and tentative. And where the feelings are complicated… but where the feelings are everything. Inviting me to ‘say hello’ to all of those. To welcome them along with the contradictions and tensions. And the love. Most of all the love.

Like most of the sessions and practices - I feel like it is just the start - but I wanted to share how honoured I feel to have been experiencing the gift of learning and unlearning with you all.
