It was relatively late in life, in my early thirties, that I discovered poetry. I have one of my main buddhist teachers to thank for this. 
He was losing his sight at the time and learning his favourite poems. I'll never forget sitting on my cushion on retreat, straining to hear his deep voice fill the space as he recited these precious words by heart.
Since then, I’ve been completely captivated by the profound wisdom and emotional beingness found in poetry. It is my sincere hope that these touch you as they have touched me, and I'll continue to add to this collection over time.
